My current objective is to lead digital initiatives using Blockchain for FinTech and Enterprise use cases. Previously, I started working for a German tech company in Calgary (Alberta, Canada) and moved to Redmond (Washington, USA) to join Microsoft.After that, I moved to Singapore and then to Myanmar; co-founded and drove business operations till 2 of the startups got acquired. I worked briefly for a startup implementing Blockchain for communication in Ottawa (Ontario, Canada).Then, I worked for Myanma Awba Group as the Group CTO till 2021 and the Group CTO of an education group from 2021 to 2023.

With over 20 years of professional experience—most of which has been spent in the field of education—she has taught at Republic Polytechnic (RP) and the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) in Singapore. Prior to her career in education, she worked as an Electronics Engineer with Motorola and Philips in Singapore.
Originally from Myanmar, she left her homeland nearly three decades ago and continued her education across Singapore, Canada, and the UK. She holds a Master of Education (MEd) from the University of Western Australia, a Master of Science (MSc) in Communications Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) from Brunel University in the UK.
Having grown up in Singapore, she firmly believes that education is vital to the development of any country. This belief drives her mission to cultivate change agents who can contribute to society and to make quality education both affordable and accessible in Myanmar.
She is also passionate about transforming the mindset of educators in Myanmar, encouraging them to adopt a holistic approach to education, embrace the benefits of technology in enhancing student engagement, and recognize the importance of keeping education relevant to the ever-evolving demands of industry and society
Her educational philosophy is inspired by the words of William Arthur Ward: “The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.”
